Answer Racing’s Michael Byrne Takes His Podium Pursuit to Southwick

Corona, CA - Coming into the final two races of the outdoor season, Answer Racing’s Michael Byrne has his eye on a top five overall finish in the 2009 Lucas Oil Outdoor National series. Coming off a sixth place at last weekends Budd’s Creek, Byrner looks to capitalize on his past strong performances and continue his late season charge for the front. Currently fifth in the points, Byrner is only four points out of fourth place and looks to continue his quest for that fourth place overall series finish.

Southwick being at the end of the season brings with it a whole new set of elements that these riders will have to play with. Throw in a 40% chance of rain and it looks like we should have an interesting race on our hands.
At last years Southwick national, Byrner logged 11-7 moto finishes to end up with eighth overall. This performance helped him on his way to fourth overall in the 2008 Outdoor National series. Looking to best last years performance, Michael has his head down and is ready to go. So all you Answer fan’s come on out to  this weekends Southwick national and cheer on our boy as he carries on towards another great finish in this grueling Outdoor series.
