Recent collaborations with wakesports course designers “Union Park” has brought a whole new flavor to the Baja Brawl weekend. “We’re incredibly excited and fortunate to have this opportunity, it’s going to be an awesome event”, says Wakeskate designer Kevin Westendorf.Kevin went on to say that not only will people be able to watch the sport’s best athletes compete from around the country, but they’ll also get the chance to try out wakeskating for themselves with open demo days on Saturday and Sunday.
Beyond the wakeskating festivities, the Baja Brawl will feature a new super-kicker ramp for the prestigious $1000 Freestyle BMX Pond Jump Championship, a new 200+ foot Cobra Slip-N-Slide, a “Flop your Keg, Win a Keg” belly flop contest for the Dad’s, and the first-ever Motoplaygound Magazine World Goon Riding Championship.
