After the impressive showing by Belgium’s Clement Desalle at the most recent round of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Washougal, it looks like yet another Grand Prix racer will be looking to do much of the same as the series heads to the historic Unadilla Sports Center in New Berlin, New York. The entry form for South Africa’s Gareth Swanepoel recently came across the desks of MX Sports, meaning we’ll have another top GP contender testing the AMA waters. The Factory Kawasaki rider is in his first season in the MX1 class and currently sits eighth in points. He’s coming off his career-best MX1 result, where he finished sixth overall (5-7) at the Loket GP. Sources are reporting that he’ll be under the Monster Energy Kawasaki awning piloting at KX450F alongside Tim Ferry this weekend. Stay tuned to Racer X Online as we hear more
