MX Sports Pro Racing Announces Inaugural Awards Banquet
MORGANTOWN, W.V. - With the final month of competition quickly arriving for the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, MX Sports Pro Racing has announced the introduction of a post-season awards banquet to celebrate the memorable on-track action and recognize the world's best riders.
Immediately following the series finale at Steel City Raceway on Saturday, September 5, the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship Celebration will commence on Sunday at 6 p.m.
MX Sports Pro Racing and its series partners will be honoring the champions, winners and various other personalities that helped make the 2009 season a success.
Season hard card holders are invited, including all riders, family members, mechanics, team personal, sponsors, media members, agents and everyone else who was part of the season.
Awards will be given to the series' top pro riders in the 450, 250 and WMX classes. In addition, MX Sports Pro Racing will honor the Pro ATV classes as well.
It all takes place Sunday evening at the historic Grand Concourse Restaurant at Station Square in downtown Pittsburgh, Pa. The Sheraton, the host hotel of the event, is a mere 100 yards away.
