DMXS Radio Tonight

GEICO Powersports Honda’s Justin Barcia continues to impress during his rookie outdoor season with more podium finishes at Millville last weekend. Some were skeptical when this amateur sensation decided to make his debut at Glen Helen instead of traveling the normal route through supercross, but it was obviously a wise decision for him. We have known Justin since he was on the tiniest of bikes and are glad to get our Georgia neighbor back on the show.
Nate Adams just wrapped up a win at the Red Bull X-Fighters in Fort Worth and is busy preparing for the X-Games where the FMX world continues to push the bounds of sanity with the tricks they pull in hopes of securing a gold medal and bragging rights among their peers. Nate has been with DMXS from the beginning some nine years ago and we look forward to checking in with our good friend tonight.
I love supercross and motocross and enjoy attending many of those races throughout the year, but my favorite week of racing is fast approaching. It’s almost time for the best amateurs in the country to converge on Hurricane Mills, Tennessee for the 28th Annual Air Nautiques Amateur National Motocross Championship and we could not welcome on a better guest than Kevin Walker to preview the week. Nobody has logged more laps at Loretta Lynn’s ranch that this local legend and we will break out the southern twang translator to help our northern listeners understand him.
Ryan Hughes has a storied racing career of his own, but has remained relevant over the years by helping the future generations of riders succeed. Ryno will catch us up on the riders he is now working with and his new venture, Rynoland. He always makes for a great interview but put the kids to bed early for this one! Check out www.RyanHughesMX.com for more info on his services and track.
Division 7 Star Racing’s Matt Lemoine is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, but we decided to let him back on the show anyway. He’s in much better mood since Tony Romo dumped the alleged team hex Jessica Simpson last week. I’m not sure that will do much good since she could probably throw better than him in the playoffs. We’ll see, but its time to talk motocross for now.
You couldn’t tell by looking at his Stonehenge like physique, but trainer Greg DiRenzo is very knowledgeable in worldly things and will demonstrate that while answering some more questions from our listeners tonight. Remember, don’t ask a question that you’re afraid to hear the answer to. Greg will crush you with his honesty.
