Golf Tourney To Benefit RiderDown Foundation Kicks off GNCC Race

SNOWSHOE, W. Va. -- Racer Productions and RiderDown Foundation announced today that they are sponsoring a golf tournament on Friday, June 26th at the world-renowned Raven Golf Club at Snowshoe Mountain. The tournament, which benefits the RiderDown Foundation, is part of the MotorcycleUSA.com GNCC weekend at Snowshoe Mountain, which is scheduled for Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28.
"We're pleased to be able to help support the RiderDown Foundation during the Snowshoe weekend," said Event Director Tim Cotter. “RiderDown's diligent work has helped many racers and their families recover from injuries and associated medical costs. We've already had several riders and team managers register for the event," added Cotter. "The event will certainly be an appropriate way to kick off the weekend of racing at Snowshoe."
Adding to the excitement this year will be the potential bonus of a $10,000 cash prize for a hole in one as well as several other prizes like a trip for two to Disney World, a set of golf clubs and a Golf and Gambling package at Foxwoods Resort Casino! MotorcycleUSA.com is sponsoring the added incentives in support of RiderDown and its efforts to assist injured riders.
“This will be the third year that RiderDown has been the beneficiary of this charity event and we are truly grateful to everyone involved,” says RiderDown President, Bruce Vermeulen. “A special thanks goes out to the entire crew at Racer Productions for their continued support and assistance with this event.
