  • Parts Unlimited Dealer Showcases Give Back to the Supporters

Parts Unlimited lives by the slogan We Support the Sport® and the company shows its pride in being a supporter of the motorcycle industry through its one of a kind dealer showcases. Throughout the 2009 Supercross and Motocross season, Parts Unlimited presents its local dealers with an exclusive opportunity to interact with the industry's top companies as well as motorcycle racing's biggest names.

"The Parts Unlimited Dealer Showcase is our opportunity to thank our dealers throughout the country for all of their support," explained Vice President of Sales Greg Blackwell. "Without the dealers' involvement, we would not have such a prominent role within the industry and set such a high standard for our product sales."

Beginning in January at round one of the Monster Energy Supercross season in Anaheim, the Parts Unlimited Dealer Showcases travel throughout the country with special events for the thousands of dealers that sell the premier products of Parts Unlimited such as Thor, Icon, Alpinestars, Scott, and Moose to name a few.

Each Dealer Showcase is an opportunity for Parts Unlimited to give back to its supporters. The sport of motocross' most famous names often grace the showcases, particularly on behalf of Thor Motocross, the sport's original and most storied apparel brand. Stars like Jeremy McGrath, Chad Reed, Ryan Villopoto and Mike Brown have all made their presence felt at the showcases, interacting with the dealers and their families while promoting the brand.

"Its great to have the chance to come to these showcases and spend some time with the people who really make all this possible," said seven time Supercross champion Jeremy McGrath. "I'm glad to have the opportunity to give back to the industry. Even though I don't get to come out to as many of these as I would like, I definitely take advantage of each opportunity I get to show Parts Unlimited, Thor and the dealers themselves how much I appreciate their support."

Parts Unlimited has earned the reputation of being an all out corporation. The company gives everything it has to its dealers and to the sport of motocross. Their success is built upon being the best and providing its supporters with everything it has to offer. This work ethic directly applies to each Dealer Showcase as Parts Unlimited provides first rate food, guests, and products to its dealers.

"It is very important for our dealers to know how much we appreciate their business and their support," said Motorsports Manager Hylton Beattie. "Our strong relationship with the racing community allows for a natural setting in which we can invite the dealers to see the products they sell out on the track. A key characteristic of Parts Unlimited is that what you see at the dealership is the same product you see on the racetrack. Making that connection is crucial to our success."

The dealer support of Parts Unlimited extends beyond the showcases and to the racetrack. First class hospitality is provided at each race, giving the same inviting atmosphere as the showcase and allowing the dealers to be the centerpiece of the pits.

With the Supercross season in the books, Parts Unlimited continues the dealer showcase program throughout the summer as part of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship.
