A Visit with Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki Founder Mitch Payton
Since he created Pro Circuit Racing in 1991, Mitch Payton has enlisted the biggest names in the history of the sport to ride under his tent, producing an astonishing 28 championships in both supercross and motocross over the last 19 years. Jeremy McGrath, Ricky Carmichael, and Ryan Villopoto are just a few of the names that have swung a leg over a Pro Circuit motorcycle and won a championship.
The list is truly a who's who of dirt-bike racing and as a result, Payton's team is seen as the pinnacle of the sport for 250cc competition. Aside from racing, Pro Circuit is also well known for its high performance exhaust pipes, premier suspension, motor modifications and motorcycle accessories. For a decade, Thor and Parts Unlimited have been an integral part of Payton's Pro Circuit Kawasaki team and as a result, serve as a significant influence on the motocross apparel industry.
