Ontario Dash for Cash Charity Event
A little background first.....
We are a non-profit family organization that has approximately 468 members from many communities in Southern Ontario. The 2009 season will mark our 30th racing season, a great accomplishment for a local non-profit, that prides itself on safe, off road fun. We have worked very hard to ensure that everyone, riders and spectators alike, have an entertaining weekend at the track and enjoy coming back week after week to race with their Lakeshore friends. We will be holding 19 races this season, in addition to our MX school and annual Charity Race, which has raised over $30,000 in the past three years and a Fun Weekend for our Members.
The Charity Event is very close to our hearts. We donate all of our proceeds to the Sick Kids Foundation, as well as the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario last season. Being a non-profit club, we rely on corporate, commercial and retail assistance to fund raise for this event. This season our Charity Race will be held August 29, 2009 at Four Winds MX Park, Port Perry, Ontario.
We are holding a DASH FOR CASH RACE; with a minimum payout of $500. The Dash for Cash Race is open to all expert riders with a minimum $500 dollar pay out, split 3 ways 50-30-20. Come out, have fun and maybe you can win some cash doing what you love the most!
