Things sure can change in a week. We'd all done the math on the Monster Energy Supercross points chase between James Stewart and Chad Reed, and it all went out the window in Seattle, where James finished 2nd, Chad finished 7th, and Ryan Villopoto took a surprise victory. With that, Reed's narrow points lead became a three point deficit.
Believe it or not, this is only the second time this season that James Stewart has held the points lead, and with just two rounds to go, the championship is as up in the air as it was at round one.
A championship will definitely be decided this weekend in the Lites class, where Ryan Dungey is currently in control. Ryan has four wins, Jake Weimer has three, and Ryan is sitting on a nine point cushion. A third rider, Ryan Morais, is still in the hunt if something unexpected happens to Dungey. Morais is still looking for his first win, as is 2008 East Coast champion Trey Canard.

Our top video this week was a great piece by Simon Cudby of Andrew Short riding at his home national track. Andrew's river-side Texas track is one of the most scenic we've seen and looks even better in high def.
The 2009 World Mini Grand Prix is behind us, but you can reminisce by watching the final video of the week by Ryan Walters and Vurb Moto. Click here for that video, and check out vurbmoto.com for more.
