Racer X Inter-Am in Boise a Big Success!
Over 200 entries were accepted for the 2nd annual Racer X Inter-Am Vintage Motocross event held Mar 28-29 at the famous OMC track in Boise.
This year's event again utilized the famous sand track that was used for the 1972 Inter-Am and the soil was perfect!
The 1974 and earlier Vintage classes ran in absolutely perfect race conditions on Saturday. Courtesy shuttle bus provided by Edge Performance in nearby Ontario, Oregon shuttled riders to and from the track to a post race party in a banquet room courtesy of the Red Lion Hotel and sponsored by WPS-Fly Racing. The festivities includeded an excellent nacho bar, live music from The Blues Addicts with special industry guest musicians, and a motocross memorabilia display of equipment, programs and magazines from the Wallenberg Collection.

Sunday's EVO schedule was halted after one set of motos due to a freak winter storm that brought in 50mph winds and snow.
The track held up well but a fear of the many travelers from the Northwest not being able to make it home before nightfall in the mountain passes, prompted the short schedule.
The Idaho Vintage MX Club would like to thank not only the participants who made the trek to Boise, but to sponsors DeCal Works, Twin-Air Filters, Boyesen Engineering, Experienced Motorsports, Scott USA, FLY Racing, The Red Lion Downtowner Boise, Edge Performance and Racer X for their support
