Deegan Forms Off-Road Race Team
LOS ANGELES, CA – Freestyle Motocross icon Brian Deegan will debut as an owner/driver at the first stop of the inaugural Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series at the Primm Valley Motorsports Complex this weekend April 4th and 5th. Deegan will be running the Pro-Lite class under a newly formed Rockstar/Metal Mulisha/Caffaro Motorsports team banner along with partner/driver Todd Caffaro, also running a Pro-Lite.
Deegan had this to say about the new partnership, “First I am really pumped about off road truck racing especially the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing series and this new arrangement with Caffaro Motorsports. Also, super excited about being a team owner and looking forward to putting the ROCKSTAR/METAL MULISHA truck on the podium this season. I believe there is tremendous growth opportunities within this sport and really glad to be involved in these early stages….it’s all pretty exciting.”
Both Deegan and Caffaro ran the 2008 CORR series, Pro-Lite class; Deegan finished the rookie outing with a top-10 finish.
Additionally, the Metal Mulisha will be doing several jump shows in between races at the Primm Nevada stop. Crowd favorites including Winter X Games medalist Jeff “Ox” Kargola, Jimmy Fitzpatrick and Wes Agee will be doing two shows a day.
