Pirelli Rider Appreciation at Big Buck GNCC
Rome, Ga. – Pirelli Tire will be the event sponsor at round four of the 13-race Can-Am GNCC Racing season this weekend at Big Buck in Union, S.C. As part of the sponsorship commitment to the riders competing in the 2009 GNCC Series, Pirelli will offer a variety of rider appreciation opportunities.
Beginning on Saturday, Pirelli will provide a complimentary gift bag to the first 250 motorcycle riders that sign up. Additionally, any rider competing on Pirelli Scorpion MX or Scorpion XC line of tires will receive free mounting and service on-site. New tires will also be on sale at competitive pricing by GNCC trackside vendor Gear Racewear.
As always, Pirelli will offer riders competing on Pirelli brand tires the opportunity to earn “Pirelli Bucks” that can be used to buy tires for their next event or practice use. Each rider must sign up for the new Pirelli Gift card prior to the start of the race.
On track, series points leader Paul Whibley will look to continue his impressive early-season run aboard his GEICO Kawasaki along with teammates Jimmy Jarrett and Scotty Watkins. The Pirelli-backed trio will showcase the Scorpion MX and Scorpion XC family of tires. The weekend’s action kicks-off on Saturday, April 4 and concludes on Sunday, April 5.
