  • Ronnie Renner Honored as "President of Plaza"

Oceanside, CA – Ronnie Renner,  on of the most recognized names in the Motocross industry, has been honored as the “President of Plaza” for the RedBull X-Fighters event this Friday night, March 27th,  in Mexico City.

Following the event, Renner will be hosting the events TV commentary.

“It’s great to make it back to Mexico City, as well as the X-Fighters series”, said Renner. “The Plaza de Toros Monumental is special to me, as one of my biggest wins of my career was here. This event is in my blood and I’m honored to accept this, and even more so, excited to be involved with the events 5th year anniversary. ”

After an amazing 2008, which saw Renner capture multiple X Games medals, capture a World Record with the highest ¼ pipe jump at 59’ 2” on the Santa Monica Pier, recognized as the year’s highest publicized Freestyle Motocross rider in Transworld MX’s Exposuremeter, his role on Fuel TV’s “Great Ride Open” and his appearances on MTV’s “Nitro Circus”, Ronnie is looking forward to another productive season.

Besides planning for another “TBA” RedBull experiment this Summer, X Games, TV Shows and worldwide demo’s/contests, Renner has been exploring, among other things, a possible future in off-road racing, particularly short-course trucks.

Ronnie Renner’s current sponsors include RedBull, KTM North America, Troy Lee Designs, Ogio, Oakley, GoPro, Enzo, FMF, Uni, Dunlop, Mongoose, KMC, Vortex, Acerbis, Kicker, SDG, BRP, ICW and 1onWon.
