Rockstar/Hart and Huntington Honda St Louis Race Report
St Louis, MO - Round twelve of the AMA Supercross series took place in the Edwards Jones dome in St Louis, Missouri and it was a successful one for the Rockstar/Hart and Huntington Honda team. Team rider Matt Boni of Geneva, Florida raced his Honda CRF 450 in the 450 main event and placed a very credible twelfth place.
“Matt rode great, he was going for the pass on eleventh and bobbled a bit, causing him to get passed by another rider to end up twelfth” said team manager Kenny Watson “That’s good to see, a guy giving it his all on the last lap. We’re happy with Matt’s performance tonight and it’s too bad about Troy’s machine.”
The other team rider, Troy Adams of Brooksville, Florida had some engine problems in the heat that prevented him from competing in the LCQ. Troy was riding well and it’s unfortunate for the team but that is racing. In the series points, Matt is in an impressive thirteenth and only nine points back in the race for top privateer. Adams is just outside the top twenty. The Rockstar/Hart and Huntington Honda team always keeps it interesting and exciting in the pits, as the fans in St Louis found out.
