  • Deegan Announces Lusk Legacy Foundation

Los Angeles, CA - Freestyle Motocross Icon Brian Deegan announced last week, at a dedication at the San Diego Hall of Champions, the formation of the Lusk Legacy Foundation, a non-profit organization,* set up not only to honor the memory of Jeremy Lusk but, also dedicated to improving the safety in the sport of freestyle motocross at both the professional and recreational levels by protecting the livelihoods of the riders and their families.

The foundation's first fundraiser, A Gala and Poker Tournament, has been set for April 15th at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Southern California.   The event features an evening of five-star dining; live entertainment; music; dancing and a buy-in poker tournament with a Hawaiian Vacation as the grand prize.  Another evening highlight, the event's silent auction, touts an impressive array of action sports memorabilia from ALL of the top names within the industry.  Invited guests from film, music and television as well as many of the world's most renowned action sports athletes are expected.

Event prices start at $250.00 per ticket; $450.00 for two tickets; and a $500.00, per person, poker tournament buy in, which also includes five-star dining. For larger groups, there are a variety of unique packages available including VIP Lounges for up to 15 guests, complete with butler service and requisite corporate tables for up to 10 guests.
