Dunlop Supports Millsaps Training Facility

  • Dunlop Supports Millsaps Training Facility
Buffalo, NY - Dunlop has long maintained a strong commitment to youth riders and rider education, and these two elements come together through Dunlop’s continued support as the official tire of the Millsaps Training Facility in support of this exemplary organization.

Located in Cairo, Georgia, Millsaps Training Facility (MTF) began when Colleen Millsaps, mother of Honda Red Bull Racing’s Davi Millsaps, recognized the need for a place where aspiring racers could enroll in a structured program that would help them realize their dreams of reaching the top levels in the sport of motocross. Since its opening in 2003, the goal at MTF has been to create a fully equipped training facility staffed by experts in the field that would revolutionize motocross training by providing first-class facilities and state-of-the-art programs.

“Millsaps Training Facility has done a commendable job of bringing effective training to young motocross riders,” said Dunlop Vice President Mike Buckley. “Dunlop is proud to lend its support to this organization and we are excited about opening up new opportunities to the many young riders who come here to learn.”

“Dunlop is a name every mx'er is familiar with, no matter their age or ability,” said Colleen Millsaps. “Dunlop has been a pillar of our sport for as long as anyone can remember. Good tires are as important as good suspension and we are proud to recommend Dunlop tires to all our full-time members and campers.”

In addition to serving as the official tire of MTF, Dunlop will provide tire seminars at select MTF camps throughout the year and will also offer riders attending camps special offers on Dunlop tires through the MTF store. Dunlop will also award several weeklong camp scholarships to MTF through a variety of promotional efforts.

More information about Millsaps Training Facility can be found at www.mtfmx.com.
