Langston To Race Lucas Oil Motocross Championship

We just talked to Grant Langston on his way to Comp Edge in Southern California. As we reported last week, he fully intends to come back and race the Lucas Oil AMA National Motocross Championship this summer. The thing is, it turns out that his deal with Yamaha is in more of a PR role. As with most people, we assumed he had a factory ride waiting for him at Yamaha, but that may or may not be the case. It sounds like Langston would certainly prefer to race for Yamaha this summer, but it might not end up being up to him. He made it clear that he’s racing one way or the other, though. It’s the “for whom” part that may not be solid just yet.
