Rockstar/Hart and Huntington Honda Daytona Report
Daytona, Florida - The shores of Daytona beach were only a few miles away but this past weekend there was no R&R involved for the Rockstar/Hart and Huntington Honda team at the Daytona supercross presented by Honda. The new addition to the team, Matt Boni, proved that he had no problem adjusting to the H&H Honda CRF450 as he raced his way to the main event. A crash in the race limited Matt to an eighteenth place but it was still a strong showing for the Geneva Florida racer.
Rockstar/Hart and Huntington’s other rider, Troy Adams was up front in the heat race before crashing and failing to make the main event. Adams currently is in twenty fifth in the points and Boni is an impressive sixteenth and one of the top privateers in the series.
“I’m happy with Matt’s ride, he’s only been on the bike a week so for him to come out here and do as good as he did, I’m happy with that” said team manager Kenny Watson “We’ll get Troy up there next week as well.”
This coming weekend the Rockstar/Hart and Huntington Honda team will be wearing pink race gear and have pink Hondas in honor of Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation. The Make It Right Foundation is an organization to help in the rebuilding of New Orleans lower 9th ward, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Come out to the race and show your support for a worthy cause.
