Gordon Crockard Injured
March 2, 2009, 5:08pm
Former GP winner, British Champion, and GNCC contender Gordon Crockard was involved in a bad crash in MX1 moto 1 at Hawkstone Park International yesterday.
Crockard is in Shrewsbury hospital in stable condition on a ventilator with several broken ribs, chipped vertebra, a leg injury (possibly broken) and had a ruptured spleen removed yesterday.
Gordon has been one of the true characters of British and Irish motocross this past decade and has also made many friends in the U.S. when he contested the GNCC championship. His past seasons have been blighted by injury and everyone is hoping he recovers fully from this bad crash.
A clip of the crash has been posted on YouTube.
