Bobby Bond's Race Report WORCS Rnd #2

Adelanto, CA - Bobby Bonds was able to salvage a 5th place this weekend aboard his Valli Motorsports/FMF/AXO backed Honda 450 at the second stop of the 2009 WORCS Racing series.  Bonds who came into Pro pits sitting in second looked fast and smooth right off the bat, but as the race went on the pace started to fall.  With the thumb and track conditions, Bobby was able to secure a 5th and leave 3rd in points.

"The thumb was absolutely killing me today.  I wasn't about to sit out and let this title defense slip away.  Good for me, Dietrich had problems, my team was able to get me in and out of the pits and I finished with a 5th.  The track was sandy, rough and it was all I could do to hold on. I'm pumped with my day for sure.  I will get some time to heal up and be ready to go for Havasu" Bondo-
