AMA Supercross Class Stats for Atlanta

· The first race was held March 5, 1977, and Bob Hannah won on a Yamaha
· This will be the 31st time the gate will drop for an AMA Supercross class race in Atlanta
· In 1992 Yamaha won their first-ever race in Atlanta at Fulton County Stadium and Damon Bradshaw won the last race held at Fulton County Stadium on a Yamaha.
· In 1993, Damon Bradshaw won the first-ever AMA Supercross race at the Georgia Dome
· Damon Bradshaw ended up becoming the first rider to win three in a row in Atlanta
· Damon Bradshaw and Mark Barnett won their last ever AMA Supercross races in Atlanta

AMA Supercross Class Notables from San Diego

· James Stewart earned his 31st AMA Supercross class win and is now tied for 6th on Yamaha’s all-time AMA Supercross win list with David Vuillemin
· James Stewart is tied with Bob Hannah and Chad Reed as the only Yamaha riders to win 6 consecutive AMA Supercross races
· In 2007, James Stewart won 7 consecutive races and he could tie that with a win in Atlanta
· For the first time in his AMA Supercross class career, Chad Reed is winless after 7 races
· For the first time in 2009, Josh Grant did not finish in the top five
· Since 1974, 1 brand has won all races only once. Can-Am won all four races in 1975
· Throughout history in 8 seasons 2 brands have won every AMA Supercross race
· Yamahas best season was 2000. They won 14 races. They are halfway there
