AMA Announces Larger Member Discount at Bikebandit.com

  • AMA Announces Larger Member Discount at Bikebandit.com
PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) is pleased to announced that existing member benefit partner Bikebandit.com has increased the retailer's discount for AMA members to 10 percent, a significant increase over the 6 percent discount that the online retailer previously offered AMA members.

Initially, the increased discount was provided for the months of December and January. Following the successful completion of that special offer for AMA members, Bikebandit.com decided to extend the larger discount indefinitely.

The discount is effective immediately and offers AMA members some serious savings on OEM (original equipment manufacture) and aftermarket parts, particularly when combined with the current sales and closeouts found at www.bikebandit.com/specials. To take advantage of the discount, AMA members simply need to enter their AMA number in the box provided at checkout.

"A recent survey indicated that over the last 12 months, nearly 40 percent of the AMA's 300,000 members spent more than $500 on motorcycle accessories and more than 40 percent spent more than $500 on maintenance and supplies," said AMA Director of Business Development Jim Moore. "Just as significant, 64 percent of our members report that they sometimes, occasionally or always make those purchases online. As such, this relationship with Bikebandit.com stands to save our members a lot of money."

Bikebandit.com Marketing Manager Kailin Terrill added, "AMA members are some of the most dedicated riders on the planet, and we're happy to support them as they maintain their motorcycles and personalize their rides with aftermarket parts and accessories."

Bikebandit.com has become a go-to online destination for genuine OEM parts, in addition to its full slate of popular aftermarket brands. The website includes easy-to-navigate blowapart diagrams of motorcycles from Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM, Triumph, Husaberg, BMW, Harley-Davidson, and others. Diagrams and parts are available going back several decades.

The Bikebandit.com discount is just the latest in a long list of new and improved AMA member benefits and savings. For more on the benefits of AMA membership, see www.AmericanMotorcyclist.com and click on Member Services.

Not an AMA member? It's easy to join and redeem this valuable offer, as well as take advantage of numerous other savings. Simply select Join/Renew in the Membership menu of the AMA website and follow the simple steps. As an AMA member, not only will you get a great package of benefits, you'll be supporting America's leading advocacy organization for the motorcycling lifestyle.
About the American Motorcyclist Association
Since 1924, the AMA has promoted and protected the motorcycling lifestyle. AMA members come from all walks of life and they navigate many different roads on their journey to the same destination: freedom on two wheels. As the world's largest motorcycle organization with nearly 300,000 members, the AMA advocates for motorcyclists' interests in the halls of local, state and federal government, the committees of international governing organizations and the court of public opinion. Through member clubs, promoters and partners, the AMA sanctions more motorsports competition events than any other organization in the world. Through its Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, the AMA preserves the heritage of motorcycling for future generations. For more information, visit www.AmericanMotorcyclist.com.
