Hey Throttle Jockey!
This isn't exactly vintage iron or anything but it happens to be one of my favorite pieces from my MX collection.
My very first SX was at the 1991 Oklahoma City State Fairgrounds where Jeff Ward got the win.
The day before the race we went to the local Kawasaki Dealership where Wardy, Chicken, and a very young MX Kied were signing autographs. They were giving away Kawasaki water bottles and I had mine signed by all 3. Larry Maier's was also there MC'ing the event but I didn't get his.
We even at ate the local Shoneys in OKC with (sat next to) Wardy and Kiedrowski the morning before the race. And if I remember correctly they both had the breakfast buffet! ha ha I was star stuck to say the least.
I shrink wrapped the bottle myself just so none of the autographs would rub off. Here's 3 shots of the bottle just to give you a angle from all sides.
This is a special piece to me because this race is where my love for the sport really took off.
