I went to this race at Red Bud when I was 8 years old. It was the coolest thing I had ever seen. After the race we walked through the pits on the way to the van and Bob Hannah was signing autographs. I waited with a group of fans and almost got one of a few cans of Coke he gave out. At the time I did not even know who he was. Afterward my Dad said, "I think you just got the winners autograph."
