SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – Zero Motorcycles, the leading electric motorcycle manufacturer, today announced the company’s new 2009 Zero X electric motorcycle is shipping in volume. With orders exceeding four times their manufacturing capacity in 2008, Zero Motorcycles entered the New Year with a substantial waiting list. To address the massive demand, Zero Motorcycles scaled their manufacturing capacity to thousands of units per year. This is a landmark moment in the electric vehicle industry.
