Factory KTM Race Report – WORCS Round 1
Phoenix, AZ – The first round of the WORCS Series kicked off in Phoenix, AZ with perfect weather and track conditions.
Factory KTM rider Justin Soule had a great 4th place start while his teammate, Mike Brown, was not far behind in 8th. Soule made some mistakes within the first lap that pushed him back to 7th. From that point on Soule and Brown rode a strong and consistent race battling within the top ten through the end of the event.
As the checkered flag flew, Brown finished 5th for the day while Soule was one spot back in 6th. “I believe the team had a solid start to the season. Of course, we would have liked to place on the podium, but we know where we stand and what to work harder on before the next round,” commented Factory KTM Team Manager Antti Kallonen.
