Pirelli Ready to Kick Off 2009 WORCS Season in Phoenix

Rome, Ga. – This weekend, Pirelli and its Scorpion MX tire will be on hand at Speed World MX Park in Phoenix, Ariz. to help kick off the 2009 World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS), January 16-18.

WORCS is one of the premier off-road racing series in the country, hosting 10 events throughout the western region from January to October. Racers of all ages and all skill levels can compete in the WORCS Championship, with multiple classes to fit each competitor’s ability.

Pirelli serves as a series sponsor, providing support for many of the series’ competitors.
