Pirelli Begins Sponsorship of 2009 CA Gold Cup

Rome, Ga. – On the heels of a strong start to the 2009 racing season, the Pirelli support truck will be available at the opening round of the California Gold Cup this weekend from Los Angeles County Raceway and each of the remaining rounds of the five-race schedule. Pirelli and its Scorpion MX tire serve as a sponsor of the 2009 California Gold Cup. Running from January to March, the Gold Cup is a rapidly growing series that holds each of its races at the finest motocross facilities in California. In addition to providing service for its sponsored riders, Pirelli Tires will be available for purchase at the JD Motorsports vendor at each round. 2009 California Gold Cup January 11 – Los Angeles County Raceway – Palmdale, Calif.
