O'Mara on "The Motocross Files" This Sunday

FULLERTON, CA – One of the most colorful and important riders in the history of Motocross and Supercross will be featured this week on "The Motocross Files (MXF) on Speed at 6:30pm (eastern standard time). Johnny "O-Show" O'Mara started his professional career on a privateer/factory Mugen Honda in 1980 and through the 80's was involved in the some of the most important races ever seen in the sport. From his 1980 USGP win, to America's first 1981 Motocross and Trophee des Nations win, to his unbelievable ride at the 1986 des Nations event in Italy, this is the first time the "O-Show" story has been told. 

"It is simply awesome that we were privileged enough to tell Johnny's story. Johnny's career started in 1980 and finished in 1990 and we all know what happened in that time period." said Todd Huffman, Producer of The Motocross Files. "We were able to use a lot of never before seen film and pictures in this show and it's exciting that the viewers will get to see them too." Huffman added.

Airing before the O'Mara episode will be David Bailey's show at 6:00pm. David and Johnny were/are best friends and teammates together at Honda from 1982.
