Risk Racing teams up with the 2008 MX2 British Motocross Champion and World number four, Shaun Simpson. Shaun Simpson’s preparations for 2009 having already begun. As the Scottish sensation readies himself for his move into the factory Red Bull KTM team, he will also be preparing for a lot of Holeshots in 2009. Shaun is working with Risk Racing and the Holeshot Practice Starting Gate to perfect his starting skills. As a motocross champion, Shaun knows the importance of a good start in any race. Shaun explains, "Getting the Holeshot is 50% of any race! If you don't get away with the top three out of the first corner you have lost 15 seconds or so by the end of the first lap, not to mention getting filled in with roost and faced with the challenge of trying to pass a lot of other crazy fast riders. At GP level I can run at the front when I get the start, it's another story trying to come through the pack!"
