  • Agreement Between FIM and AXO Sport
The FIM (Fédération  Internationale de Motocyclisme) is pleased to announce that the Italian company AXO Sport Spa, motorcycle clothing manufacturer, was chosen by the FIM Executive Board as provider of official FIM Gear for all the FIM delegates and officials. This agreement, valid until 2011, includes the following main points: As clothing provider of the FIM, AXO Sport Spa is assigned by the FIM all necessary clothing to its delegates and officials on task during FIM World Championship and Prize events. AXO Sport will benefit of all the FIM events and of the new FIM communication platform.

Vito Ippolito, FIM President
:
“I am very pleased that the FIM has now been able to finalise a deal of this nature. It is the first time that the FIM reached an agreement with an accessories manufacturer. This will definitely help to make our delegates and officials easier to identify, and improve the image of the FIM by making it much more professional and providing it with high quality products. AXO Sport has been on the market for a long time and has a very solid and successful experience and a very good image, transmitting not only good products but also the passion for motorcycling to its customers. It has been dedicated for years in offering the best products to all users and thus, obviously the FIM will be provided with top quality products. And I am sure that this agreement will be very satisfactory for both parties and that this collaboration will continue in the future.”

Bruno Zago, President of AXO Sport
:
“We are extremely delighted and proud to announce the beginning of this partnership with the FIM, which we hope to be long lasting and profitable. AXO praises a long tradition, not only as leading manufacturer of motorcycle clothing and accessories, but also as official supplier of materials and technical equipment to societies, which organize World Championships. Among the most recent partnerships, we are proud to mention the one with Dorna in its last years of activity in World Motocross, the one, still on-going, with FG Sport, the company that owns the rights to and organises the FIM Superbike and Supersport World Championships, Superstock 1000 FIM Cup and Superstock 600 European Championship, as well as the one with the well-known Doctor Costa’s Clinica Mobile. It has been easy, following this tradition, to make a step towards the partnership with the FIM, which is recognized as the symbol of the two-wheel motorsports all over the world. The passion we feel for the field we are involved in, combined with our high-quality products and our ability in customizing our equipment upon our customers’ requests, have always made of AXO a perfect technical partner. We are convinced that the cooperation with the FIM will bring AXO even more prestige on the tracks all around the world, in the Championships we are already involved as a proud sponsor of the riders. In the year of our 30th anniversary, the beginning of this partnership represents another way to underline our will to get even nearer to the world we love so much and that has given us many exciting moments, as well as many great results and to confirm the ability of our factory to supply motorcyclists with everything they may need, on tracks and out of them!”.
