Husqvarna Announces 2009 Contingency Program

Woodcliff Lake, NJ -- Husqvarna Motorcycles NA is pleased to announce their 2009 National Contingency Program which posts more than $11,000,000 up for grabs over a wide range of American racing events and series. Recognized as one of the powersport industry’s most dynamic contingency offers, Husqvarna’s 2009 program will be made available to qualified owners of 2008 and 2009 model Husqvarna motorcycles.
“Last season the Husqvarna National Contingency Program paid out a serious amount of money to Husqvarna riders throughout the country and our intention is to keep the momentum going in 2009,” said Husqvarna Sales & Marketing Manager Scot Harden.
Husqvarna has posted over $180,000 for Husqvarna mounted GNCC competitors alone and spread over 25 classes in the form of series bonuses and individual race performance rewards. “Any way you slice it,” continued Harden, “this 2009 contingency program is a further demonstration of Husqvarna’s deep commitment to the sport of off-road racing and it is our sincere hope to reward the riders who support the U.S. off-road racing scene too.”
