Ding Dong… WNYMXI is Dead!

Western New York Moto-X Illustrated isn’t exactly dead… in fact, the heart & soul of local / regional NY mx print coverage is still beating ! After just 2 years, Wooster MotorSports Media Co/Owners Holly & Larry Wooster are proud to announce that New York Moto-X Illustrated will replace WNYMXI in January 2009 ! Thanks to the “Core Supporters” of WNYMXI: The five WNYMA Tracks, Scotty Grants of Thunder Alley Sports, Andy Stacy of Tuf Powersports, Josh Klem of Moto-Option Clothing, Larry Mills at DP Brakes, Jason at Monster Energy, Ray Laks Honda, Race Tools, DeBadts Tire & Auto Repair, BarefootMXRacing.com, and Dr. Fred at Xtremesight ! PLUS… we couldn’t have done it without great people writing articles and providing vintage pictures like Thomas “Yak” Threadgill, Dave Carman, Bruce Stratton, Dr. Fred, and we can’t forget to thank the riders who took the time to do interviews like Pauly Carpenter, Andy Stacy, Bobby Kiniry, Broc Sellards, Jack “Cartwheel” Carpenter, Bruce Stratton, Thomas Addy, and the 2008 WNYMA #1 Expert Alex Sigismondi !

From the 1st Issue ever in 2007, our little 1,000 copy magazine WNYMXI started drawing the interest of tracks and series alike from inside & outside of western New York state like the CNYMRA D3, AMA D4, and the “Outlaw MX Series”. After some discussions and a few phone calls and few more discussions, growing from a 52 page 1,000 copy magazine published five times a year to a 52 page+ 2,500+ copy magazine published six times a year, just made good business sense.

New York Moto-X Illustrated will maintain its unique cover price of… FREE !

There will be over a dozen locations across central, northern, southern, eastern, and western NY State where issues of NYMXI will be available on a 1st come 1st serve basis. For die hard NYMXI readers or that for that perfect Christmas gift for you know who… a subscription rate of $15.00 will be offered to cover postage and handling.

PLUS… NYMXI will be online with a kick sassafras website ! That’s right, we’ll have FULL ISSUES in living color online with working links, extra articles, schedules, rider interviews, and mx news you can use !

            Issue #4 August 2009… will be unleashed on July 24th, 2009 !
            Issue #5 October 2009… will be unleashed on September 18th, 2009 !
            Issue #6 December 2009… will be unleashed on November 20th, 2009 !

            Full page ads 8” wide x 10” tall are just $150.00.
            ½ page ads 4” x 10” vertical or 8” x 5” horizontal are just $75.00.
