Team Trick Tank Kicks Off Indoor Motocross Winter Series
Charlotte, NC -- While most folks will spend the weekend after Thanksgiving recovering from too much Turkey and laying on the couch watching football games, the Trick Tank Motocross team will head out to near-by Ashville, N.C. for the first of six events in the 2008-2009 FMF Indoor Motocross Winter Series.
Team riders Jake Gilbertson, Justin Hopson and Josh Harris have all scored big wins in this series in the past and they're all looking for good results to start off this year's points race.
Gilbertson will compete in two classes, 85cc 12-15 and the very competitive Super Unlimited Mini and is one of the favorites to score in both main events.
Hopson, who just turned Pro last year, will race in the Expert/Pro class and journeyman rider Harris will enter two classes, 250B and 450B.
Team owner Bob Gilbertson has a lot of confidence in the team and has high hopes of success this weekend.
"The guys have been riding just about every free moment preparing for Asheville," Gilbertson said. "They're all working on building up their stamina and endurance and I've already seen the results as they are riding more practice laps that they have in the past. I've got a good feeling and baring any unforeseen circumstances I'm optimistically confident that we'll start off with a bang."
