Dunlop Taking Mini O's Racing Results Around the World

Buffalo, NY - Dunlop Tires is pleased to announce that Dunlop will step up support at the final amateur national round of the 2008 season, sponsoring the 2008 Mini O's Winter Olympics Live Timing System. Live timing will be displayed online at www.mxtransponder.com during the entire event, which kicks off in Gainsville, FL on November 24-29.
Dunlop's support of the Live timing system will give amateur racing enthusiasts across America and around the world the opportunity to view timing, scoring and race results as they are recorded and will be featured online throughout the five days of competition. In addition to online support, Dunlop is also making race results and times available trackside at the Mini O's held at Gatorback Cycle Park, sponsoring the distribution of results to riders, families and fans.
"Dunlop is excited to have the opportunity to extend its support and make amateur national racing accessible to enthusiasts everywhere," said Dunlop Tires Motorcycle Vice President Mike Buckley. "Dunlop is on the ground at amateur racing competitions around the country all year supporting young riders and their families via the Dunlop Tire Support Program, but there are many family members, friends and enthusiasts who can't make it to the final 2008 event for the whole five days.
"Transponders will be fitted to every race bike and the data recorded will instantly be viewable on the website. The online timing system is easily accessible and means nobody has to miss any of the action packed racing that we have seen all year. It doesn't matter where people are in the world, anyone will be able to get online and watch the racing results as they happen."
The 2008 Mini O's Winter Olympics competition will also be the final event for 2008 at which Team Dunlop members and Dunlop amateur competitors can utilize Dunlop's national trackside tire support. Dunlop personnel have been on hand at every major national amateur-racing event this year assisting Dunlop competitor's with their tire needs.
