2nd Annual BRP Fun Ride

We are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual BRP Fun Ride. This year's Fun Ride has been made possible with major support from AMA District 37 and ORBA. It will be held on December 13th & 14th in Johnson Valley at the Cougar Buttes OHV area.
There is a dual purpose to this year's event. First is to increase awareness about the proposed 29 Palms Marine base expansion into the Johnson Valley OHV area. Second is to raise funds for AMA D37's Legal Defense Fund. This is not a race! The key will be to have Fun! We will have various loops for all types of riders and disciplines. We are inviting everybody from the off-road communities: dirt bikers, trials riders, ATV/UTV riders, rock crawlers and 4x4 enthusiasts to come out and enjoy the Johnson Valley OHV area. Representatives from ORBA, CORVA, BRC and AMA D-37 will be at the event to help educate the OHV public on what they can do to be heard and make a difference.
One of the Marine Corps proposals in their study for land acquisition is a westward expansion of the 29 Palms base which would result in the loss of a large portion of the Johnson Valley OHV area. Johnson Valley is a premier location for off-road enthusiasts, home to numerous off-road events and enjoyed by thousands of families each year.
I don't think I need to tell you what type of impact this possible closure would have on the Southern California OHV community, especially for those that have a business sustained by the revenue produced by the off-road industry. Please join us in our efforts to combat this possible land acquisition and preserving the future of our great sport.

Your company’s name will be announced and recognized for its generous contribution during Saturday’s festivities.
