Maplesville, AL – Husaberg support rider Michael Grizzle won his first race aboard his new Husaberg ride at the 40th Annual Gobbler Getter race over the weekend.
Georgia native, Grizzle, received his 2009 Husaberg FE450 on Friday and drove straight to the race. Sunday morning marked the first time he’d thrown a leg over the bike as he rode over to the start line of the AA class. Grizzle put in a great ride Sunday morning to take the win by only 1 second over the second place rider.
“Taking this win my first time on the bike represents just how awesome the new Husaberg works. Although I am not familiar with this bike, it is so easy to ride and such a powerful, well-handling machine that it made it easy to come out up front,” commented Grizzle.
Grizzle has signed as a Husaberg support rider for the 2009 SETRA Series.
