Over 20 Countries and States to Compete in MTA World Vet MX Championships

The 24th annual MTA World Vet MX Championships is becoming the TRUE meaning of “World”. Countries such as Cambodia, Japan, Venezuela, Belgium, Sweden, and several more are competing is this event on November 1-2, 2008 at Glen Helen Raceway. Also, several riders are traveling from as far as Georgia to be of part of this historic event.
The event is 4 days of practicing, racing and also a World premier movie by Todd Huffman, Monsters of Motocross on Friday evening at California Theater in San Bernardino.
The festivities start on Thurs. Oct. 30 with open MX practice 8am-2pm. The MTA World Vet only practice on Friday Oct 31. 8am -2pm. The racing starts on Sat. November 1st with the warm-up races of the all classes +25 years and up with all skill levels. The premier class on Sat. will be the +40 year Pro with defending champion Doug Dubach racing for his 15th World Vet title. Sunday November 1st is championship day again all class racing except you must be +30 years or older to race. Sunday will highlight with the +30 Pro class and the ever popular Edison Dye Lift Time Achievement Award, which will be awarded to Brad Lackey.
