CORONA, CA – Following successful Supercross/Motocross seasons, highlighted by an East Coast SX Lites Championship in 2008, the Factory Connection race team and title sponsor GEICO Powersports have extended their sponsorship agreement through 2011.
GEICO Powersports signed on as the title sponsor for the Factory Connection squad starting at the season-finale Las Vegas Supercross and supported the team through the entire motocross season.
“It’s been a long road for the race team, but we have always hoped that someday we could build this type of partnership,” said Jeff Majkrzak, Co-owner Factory Connection Racing. “Since the beginning, GEICO Powersports has been a dream to work with, and with GEICO’s help, we can hopefully lead the sport to the next level. Not only do they understand our sport and truly share our passion, they will be marketing our team and sport in a way that will benefit all of us in our industry. Needless to say, we’re all very excited about the possibilities with GEICO Powersports in the coming years.”
GEICO Powersports shares Factory Connection’s enthusiasm and is looking for more big things from the team.
“We are extremely excited to continue our relationship with a winning team like Factory Connection Racing," said Eric Vaden, GEICO Marketing. “We've enjoyed our experience, on and off the track, with Supercross, Motocross and their loyal fans. We just hope we are doing our part to save these passionate fans money on insurance for all the things that move them."
With GEICO Powersports’ support, the GEICO Powersports Honda team is heading into 2009 stronger than ever, and the future is bright.
