From Rick Conley: "In regards to this weeks # cruncher, I just had to send you this pic of Alex "Jorgy" Jorgenson feet-up, sideways, on the gas, while trying to find more rear wheel traction on the "Blue Groove". This picture is from 1976, while riding a 750 Ron Wood Norton. I remember watching him, Kenny Roberts and Jay Springsteen battling at the National Calif dirtracks, Ascot Park, Sacramento, and San Jose." Rick Conley David Kindness sent us this nostalgic picture of his ticket stub from the 1980 Unadilla USGP. He was prompted by the Steve Wise #44 trivia question. David Kindness Carl Stone is an avid Number Cruncher reader who regularly contributes. He dropped in on the #44 edition to throw in Ryan Mills. Carl Stone From Warren Price: "This #32 is Great Britain's Jeremy Whatley leading Jim Gibson at the 1982 Trophee des Nations in Gaildorf (West), Germany. Whatley is best known for beating the crap out of David Thorpe in the early days of Thorpe's career." Warren Price From Chris Westall: "Here's a shot I took of '82 500 champ Darrell Shultz at the '82 Carlsbad USGP running the #32. I don't really remember how Darrell did that day (Magoo won it), but it seems he fell off the radar after that '82 season. I think I remember reading about injuries pretty much derailing his career. He's kind of been a forgotten champion, don't hear much about him at all, but the man could ride." Chris Westall From Peter Hichens: "This is Ronnie Tichenor at the the 1987 Meadowlands supercross. This is where Tichenor won the 1987 East Coast title. Behind him, # 226 is me." Peter Hichens From Cristiano Doimi: "Hello Andy! Here is one big display of number #58 at MXDN 2004 in Lierop. This is Mark "Calimero" De Reuver riding a KTM 250 2-stroke." Realmx.com
