Reed, Langston, and Thomas Join Road 2 Recovery Poker Tournament

  • Reed, Langston, and Thomas Join Road 2 Recovery Poker Tournament
Scottsdale, AZ – The Fourth Annual Road 2 Recovery Celebrity Charity Poker Tournament presented by Toyota Trucks, hosted by Jimmy Button, and emceed by celebrity tournament director Matt Savage, will take place on Thursday, Oct 9, 4:00 p.m. inside the MGM Grand Poker Room. First prize is a 2009 $10,000 World Series of Poker main event seat. First, second and third place winners will receive Curtis & Co. watches valued at $2,200 each. Spectators are welcome. Fans and participants will take home more than 100 prizes and giveaways.

The tournament is open to the public. Participants will compete against Supercross and poker celebrities, including Chad Reed, Grant Langston, Jason Thomas, Chris Ferguson, Andy Bloch, Jeff Madsen, Robert Williamson III, Jennifer Harman, Marco Traniello, Karina and Chip Jett, Hoyt Corkins, Todd Brunson, Joe Sebok, Jamie Gold, Roy Winston, and 2008 World Series of Poker final table chip leader Dennis Phillips.

The donation to enter the tournament is $300, with $100 re-buys available during the first four levels. Players may also purchase a $100 add-on for double the starting stack at the end of the re-buy period.

Pre-register for the charity poker tournament by visiting www.road2recovery.com/secure/registration_poker.asp.  Players may also register for the tournament and side activities in the MGM Grand poker room on the day of the event. MGM Grand will secure all tournament donations on the day of the event with proceeds benefiting the Road 2 Recovery Injured Riders Fund.
