  • Become the Next Miss Supercross!

AURORA, Ill. (August 14, 2008) – Live Nation Motor Sports, Inc., announced today that applications are now being accepted for the new 2009 Miss Supercross, who will tour with the 2009 Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship.

  • Here's a test for a horizontal image. Making this caption just a wee bit longer than the previous one.
“Throughout the years Miss Supercross has played an integral part in the promotion of the sport not only at the live event but also making celebrity appearances within the markets we race in,” said Dave Prater, director of supercross, Live Nation Motor Sports, Inc. “This is a great opportunity for one lucky girl to pursue a career as a spokesmodel for a sport they are passionate about.”

Interested applicants for the 2009 Miss Supercross can visit www.SupercrossOnline.com to fill out an application. After completing the form, applicants must submit three photos no later than August 31, 2008.

Twenty girls will be selected from the applicants and included in the ‘Miss SX’ section on www.SupercrossOnline.com.  Pictures of the 20 chosen girls will be posted on the website where fans can vote for their favorite girl. From there, the field will be narrowed down to 10 finalists. The 10 finalists will have the opportunity to illustrate why they should become the 2009 Miss Supercross in pre-recorded videos that will be posted on www.SupercrossOnline.com.

Live Nation Motor Sports, Inc., will select the winner and announce her on October 10 at the Rockstar Energy Drink U.S. Open inside Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. Miss Supercross will attend every stop on the 2009 schedule and serve as a spokesmodel for Monster Energy® Supercross and will make guest PR appearances to promote the sport.
