Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green Dominate the Top 10 at Thunder Valley

Irvine, Calif. (July 2, 2008) – Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green was well represented in the AMA/WMA National Championship event at Thunder Valley Raceway in Lakewood, Colo. as four Team Green riders earned top-10 finishes.

Young rider Tatum Sik led the way to finish sixth overall. Sik went 10-5 in the motos with her riding improving every time she went out on the track. Elisabeth Bash finished eighth overall, going 7-8 in the motos, while Monster Energy Team Green’s newest addition Mariana Balbi went 6-10 for ninth overall.

Balbi has ridden a Kawasaki KX250F all season and in between the Texas and Colorado rounds began receiving support from Team Green. Local favorite Ashley Boham finished 10th overall. Boham is from nearby Loveland, Colo. and she rode well at her home track.

In the season points standings, Balbi currently sits in sixth, just one point outside of the top five. Sik is seventh in the standings, four points back of Balbi with Bash is tenth.

Round four of the six round schedule will take place July 26-27 in Washougal, Wash.
