LAKEWOOD, Col. (June 27, 2008) – As the sun goes down and the lights come on Saturday, June 28, motocross fans from across the country will be able to watch live action from the Toyota Trucks AMA National at Thunder Valley Presented by Division 7 Insulation, round five of the 2008 AMA Toyota Motocross Championship Presented by FMF.
The Racer X Motocross Show, presented by Toyota Trucks, will offer free live video/audio streaming of the first set of motos, plus the WMA moto at intermission, on live.motocross.com. The show will air live SPEED coverage free of charge to viewers that sign up at live.motocross.com. Viewers will also be offered a free digital download of the August '08 issue of Racer X Illustrated.
"This marks the second year that the gang at SPEED have been kind enough to let us pick their first-moto signal off the satellite and show it live on www.motocross.com," said Jason Weigandt, host of the Racer X Motocross Show. "It gives motocross fans all over the world a chance to see this historic Thunder Valley National come to life under the lights, as well as a chance to see if Ryan Villopoto and James Stewart can continue their winning streaks on Saturday night. Fans can watch the first motos online, then switch over to Speed TV to watch the conclusion. It's a sign of things to come..."
Heading into Colorado, Monster Energy Kawasaki's James Stewart has yet to lose a moto this summer; he is a perfect 8-for-8 in motos and 4-for-4 in overall wins. As for two-time AMA Motocross Lites Champion Ryan Villopoto, the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider has reeled off seven straight moto wins and three consecutive overalls since finishing fifth in the first moto of the AMA Toyota Motocross Championship, presented by FMF.
