Australian Wildman Comes Back To Claim Victory In Baltimore

23-year old Blake “Bilko” Williams just took home the first place trophy from the Panasonic Open 2008 in Baltimore, Maryland. As one of the more prestigious FMX events of the AST Dew Tour, the Panasonic Open attracts some of the best FMX rider in the world. Following up last year’s second place finish, Bilko came out swinging this year to claim first.

Although he qualified third in Thursday’s prelims, Williams consistently hammered out clean superman back flips, flat spin 360 heel clickers, and full-corked rip flips during the finals to earn him a spot at the top of the podium.

“Bilko did it,” says DVS Moto Team Manager Dano Legere. “Baltimore was the first stop and next up is the X-Games. We’re expecting big things.”
