ESPN X Games 14 Tickets on Sale Today

  • ESPN X Games 14 Tickets on Sale Today

WHO: 
X Games fans can now purchase tickets for this summer’s X Games 14 through STAPLES Center and The Home Depot Center box offices, all Ticketmaster outlets and Ticketmaster.com.

X Games tickets range in price from $10-$20 based on location and venue.  The public will be given the option of purchasing various X Games 14 tickets as detailed below (all times PT):

Thursday, July 31
• Thursday kicks off with first-time X Games event BMX Freestyle Street at 4:30 p.m. at the new Event Deck at LA Live downtown across from STAPLES Center for $10.
• The return of Skateboard Big Air followed by Moto X Best Trick and Moto X Best Whip gear up inside STAPLES Center starting at 5:45 p.m. for $20.
• The Home Depot Center offers free admission and parking on Thursday with practices offered in Rally Car Racing, Vert, SuperPark and Moto.

Friday, August 1
• The Event Deck at LA Live downtown will be hot on Friday with the Skateboard Street for both men and women beginning at 2 p.m. for $20.
• At 5:45 p.m. STAPLES Center goes live with BMX Big Air and Moto X Step Up for $20. 
• The Home Depot Center offers free admission and parking on Friday with practices offered in Rally Car Racing, Vert, SuperPark and Moto as well as eliminations in BMX Freestyle SuperPark, Moto X Speed & Style and Freestyle.

Saturday, August 2
• X Fest, available for $10, is the ultimate action sports festival featuring sponsor & industry booths, interactive parks, athlete appearances, demos, BMX and Skateboard Vert competitions and new-to-the-X Games BMX and Skateboard SuperPark competitions. Bleacher seating at the Vert and SuperPark are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis for the four finals on this day: Women’s Skateboard Vert at 11 a.m., first-time event BMX SuperPark at 1 p.m., BMX Vert at 4:15 p.m. and Men’s Skateboard Vert at 5:45 p.m.
• Get your Moto X Fix for $20 - includes reserved seating for men’s and women’s Moto X Racing, Speed & Style, SuperMoto and Freestyle as well as admission to X Fest.

Sunday, August 3
• Sunday wraps up X Games 14 at The Home Depot Center with the fastest event at the X Games: Rally Car Racing. Reserved seating is available for $20 and includes X Fest access.
• Additionally, X Fest is available for $10 and features Skateboard Vert Ams at 11 a.m., first-time event Skateboard SuperPark at 12:30 p.m. and Legends of Vert at 2:30 p.m., which last year featured old school talent including Chris Miller, Christian Hosoi and Steve Caballero. Bleacher seating at the Vert and SuperPark are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis for the three finals on this day.


WHAT: 
The X Games is the definitive annual action sports competition featuring more than 150 of the world’s best athletes competing in: BMX Freestyle, Moto X, Skateboard and Rally Car Racing. X Games Los Angeles-based venues include STAPLES Center, the new Event Deck at LA Live (downtown across from STAPLES Center) and The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

WHEN & WHERE:
ESPN X Games 14 will be held July 31 – August 3.  For 2008, The Home Depot Center will host an increased number of X Games competitions, while other events will return to STAPLES Center as well as the new Event Deck at LA Live downtown across from STAPLES Center.

Fourteen hours of live X Games programming on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC – all showcased in high definition – will be aired July 31 – August 3, as well as on ESPN International, EXPN.com, ESPN Classic, ESPN360.com, SportsCenter and ESPN2’s X Center.
