2008 EnduroCross Night Race
ANAHEIM, Calif. (June 19, 2008) The organizers of the AMA/Maxxis EnduroCross Championship Series, presented by Lucas Oil, announced today that Baja Designs, the premier supplier of race lighting, off-road lighting and many other motorcycle and ATV enhancing products, will once again be the official sponsor of the 2008 EnduroCross Baja Designs Night Race. For the past two years, Baja Designs has supported this unique EX concept, the world’s first indoor night race, which sees riders mount Baja Designs lighting equipment to their off-road motorcycles and race in the dark!
“We are very proud to be able to continue this exciting race with Baja Designs,” exclaims Eric Peronnard, EnduroCross originator. “Their remarkable products are what make this unique race possible… and its amazing just how well the lights work!”
The riders chosen to compete in this extraordinary race are those that miss the opportunity to transfer from the Expert LCQ into the Main Event. As a bit of a consolation, they are then tapped to outfit their race bikes with Baja Designs lighting equipment and compete with the Arena lights off! And this is not just for a good show… the winner receives $500 cash, courtesy of Baja Designs.

The Baja Designs Night Race will take place at the Las Vegas rounds of the championship, as the magnificent Orleans Arena has suitable lighting that can be turned off then back on in a hurry. Round 5 in Columbus , Ohio may also include a Baja Designs Night Race.
