  • EnduroCross Announces ReKluse Contingency

ANAHEIM, Calif. (June 12, 2008) The organizers of the AMA/Maxxis EnduroCross Championship Series, presented by Lucas Oil, announced today that Rekluse Motor Sports, manufacturer of industry leading z-Start Clutches, will once again be the official auto-clutch sponsor for the 2008 championship. Rekluse has supported EnduroCross since the inaugural event in 2004 and continues as a key partner as the series grows to six events in 2008.  Subsequently, Rekluse has put together an impressive contingency program for 2008.

“We are proud to continue our great relationship with Rekluse,” claims Lance Bryson, Director of Sales & Marketing for the series. “Their product is remarkable and is a perfect match for the hardcore EnduroCross rider!”

The 2008 AMA EnduroCross Rekluse Contingency Program is for both Expert and Support level riders.  Riders competing with the amazing z-Start Pro auto-clutch system will be eligible for the impressive contingency cash put up by Rekluse.

"The 2007 EnduroCross Series was a great opportunity for Rekluse riders to demonstrate the benefits of our z-Start Pro given the totally unique and challenging format at each EnduroCross event," stated Al Youngwerth , President of Rekluse Motor Sports. "We had over 30 Rekluse riders for the 2007 series—including top Rekluse rider Destry Abbott—and expect an even stronger group to be shooting for the $8,000 in contingency posted by Rekluse for 2008."

The start of the AMA EnduroCross season is just a few weeks away and the stars of Off-Road racing are gearing up to head indoors and contest the “toughest racing on two-wheels!”  Make plans to check out Round 1 of the AMA/Maxxis EnduroCross Championship Series in Las Vegas ’ Orleans Arena on July 5th, 2008 ; and be sure to tune into the Versus Network’s Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour for up-close and personal coverage of the series.  Thanks to great sponsors like Rekluse Motor Sports, 2008 is looking to be the best season so far!
