GEICO Triple Crown for EnduroCross

ANAHEIM, Calif. (May 27, 2008) The organizers of the AMA/Maxxis EnduroCross Championship and auto insurance leader, GEICO, are proud to announce the 2008 GEICO Triple Crown. A $50,000 check will be awarded to the Maxxis EnduroCross expert class racer who can win all three GEICO Triple Crown events. This one-of-a-kind motorcycle racing trifecta lays the exciting foundation for “the biggest payday in Off-road racing!”

The EnduroCross Triple Crown, now in its second year, was the focus of much attention in 2007as 2-time AMA/Maxxis EnduroCross Champ, David Knight, battled “down to the last lap” in front of a packed house in Las Vegas’ Orleans Arena only to come up one position shy of the coveted crown. After winning the first two 2007 EnduroCross Triple Crown events, Knight was denied the $50,000 by teammate and international rookie sensation, Taddy Blazusiak.
